A GARDA DREAM
A Garda Dream is located in a portion of the territory that preserves and maintains over time the values and stories of an ancient history. In the locality of ‘Rotti’, which takes its name from the Vaio dei Rotti, rich in vegetation, so much so as to hide the road that still connects the westernmost side of the territory of Bussolengo, bordering Lazise, with the locality of Monti di Bussolengo.
Ancient documents of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries mention the agricultural vocation of this area, mainly dedicated to the cultivation of oil and vines.

PROXIMITY TO WATER SOURCES
Called 'calcarole' allowed integration with arboreal crops of fruit or seed,
such as apple trees, pear-trees, plum trees, walnut trees,
but above all of the highly prized mulberry tree, in the species morus alba, addressed at the end of the sixteenth century to the nascent silkworm industry, a plant species also productive on morainic soils, also used in the morus nigra variety, as a living support of the vines and a primary sugar-based food supplement.
The Napoleonic map tells us of the building progression on the building. On one side the manor house can be distinguished, to which a body to the east is aggregated in continuity, from which the rustic part then detaches, closing the courtyard.
From a careful, prestigious and faithful restoration of a portion of the manor house, A GARDA DREAM was born.
An attempt was made to maintain and recover as much as possible authentic pieces of the original structure. Tangible and clearly visible testimony is the ancient bell on the roof.
